:NanocrystallinepowdersofBariumSodiumNiobate(BNN)withthecompositionBa3-2xNa4+xRxNb10O30withx=0havebeenpreparedbyconventionalceramictechnique.Thepowdersbelongedtotungstenbronzetypestructurewithtetragonalsymmetryandlatticeconstantsa=12.4531Angstromunitsandc=3.9834Angstromunits.XRDandSEMstudiesrevealedthatitsparticlesizeisinthenanometerrange.CompositeswerepreparedbymixingpowdersofBNNwithpolystyreneatdifferentvolumefractionsofthematerial.Dielectricstudieswereconductedatafrequencyrangeof100kHzto13MHzandatemperaturevariationfrom28degreeCto120degreeC.Ithasbeenfoundthatdielectriccharacteristicsofthecompositesdependuponboththefillerandthepolymer.Mechanicalpropertiessuchasstress-strainbehavior,Young’smodulus,Tensilestrength,strainatbreaketc.werecalculated.Additionoffillerenhancesthemechanicalpropertiesofthepolymer.Hydrophobicnatureofthecompositesincreaseswithfilleraddition.Alltheresultsareingoodagreementwithitsusesinelectronicsindustry
