Recently,globalwarmingandexhaustionoffossilfuelshaveemergedasseriousenvironmentalproblem.Toestablishhydrogenenergysocietyintermsofhydrogenfuelcellsisaneffectivemethodforsolvingtheseproblems.Theaterialsusedinhydrogenfuelcellsystemaregenerallyxposedtoahydrogenenvironment.Despitethesebackgrounds,thestudiesontheinfluenceofhydrogenonstrengthpropertiesoforganicmaterialssuchasplasticsandrubbershavehardlybeenreported.Especially,inthecaseoftherubbermaterialforO-ringtosealahigh-pressureas,internalfracture,whichisreferredasblisterfractur,hassometimesbeenreportedatseveralkindsofases,althoughtheblisterfracturebyahigh-pressurehydrogenashasnotbeenreported.
