Thisworkfocusedonthecomplexreactionbetweencelluloseacetate(MCA)and1’,3’,3’-trimethyl-6-nitrospiro(2H-1-benzopyran-2,2’-indoline)(NO2SP)aswellasthephotochromicpropertiesoftheresultantcomplexcompoundandtheelectrospunfiberfabricatedfromthecompound.Thecomplexcompoundshowedgoodphotochromicpropertyuponultravioletrayirradiationinsolution.Themorphologyoftheelectrospunfibersfromthecomplexwasobservedbyscanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM).Thephotochromicpropertyoftheelectrospunfiberswasobservedbyultravioletvisiblespectrophotometer.Resultsshowedthattheelectrospunfiberswererestorableandthephotochoromicpropertiesweregood.
