Anovelmacro/nanoblendednonwovenwithexcellentmechanicalpropertieswaspreparedbyelectrospinningpolyurethane(PU)nanofibersontothesurfaceoframiewebsunderdifferentconcentrationofPUsolution.TheconcentrationofPUsolutionhasgreatinfluenceonthediameter,morphologyandtensilepropertiesofPUnanofibersandramie-PUblendnonwovens.PUnanofiberswithuniformandstraightstructurecanbepreparedwith10wt%andshowthebesttensileproperties.Howeverthetensilepropertiesoftheblendednonwovenswiththisconcentrationaretheworst.TheblendednonwovensshowthebesttensilepropertieswhenPUconcentrationis8wt%.
