Inthispaper,polyether(ester-amide)(PEEA)segmentedblockcopolymersweresynthesizedbytwo-stepmeltpolymerizationmethodfromε-caprolactam,poly(tetramethyleneglycol)(PTMG),andadipicacid.TheobtainedcopolymerswerecharacterizedbyFTIR.MechanicalandthermalpropertiesofobtainedPEEAcopolymerswerestudiedbyDMA,tensiletesting,DSCandTGA.TheresultsshowedthatTgofobtainedPEEAwaslowerthan-50℃andmeltingpointwasabout216℃.TheworkingtemperaturerangeofPEEAwasnomorethan200℃andPEEAwasstableinthistemperaturerange.WiththeincreaseofPTMGcontentordecreaseofcaprolactamcontent,thetensilestrengthdecreasedaccordinglyandthebreakingelongationincreased,whileTg,Tmandrubberplateauofcopolymersdidn’thaveevidentchangesaccordingtoDMAandDSC.
