简介：

Poly(methylmethacrylate/methylacrylate)/organo-montmorillonite(P(MMA-MA)/OMMT)nanocompositesaspreparedinthispaper.Thecompositewasappliedtomodifypoly(vinylchloride)(PVC).Thestructure,ompatibility,thermalstabilityandmechanicalpropertiesofthemodifiedmaterialwerecharacterizedbyX-rayiffraction(XRD),scanningelectronmicroscope(SEM),thermogravimetricanalysis(TGA),tensiletestandimpacttestynamicalmechanicalthermalanalysis(DMA)respectively.Theresultsshowedthattheblendexhibitedfineompatibility.ThethermalstabilityofthemodifiedPVCwasimprovedwithadditionofP(MMA-MA)/OMMTanocomposites.Theadditionofthenanocompositesalsoimprovedthemechanicalpropertyofblends.
