Themicro/nano-fibermembraneshaveagoodperformanceinfilteringareasduetotheirseriesofuniqueproperties.Inthispaper,thepolypropylene(PP)micro/nano-fiberswerepreparedbymeltextrusionofimmiscibleblendsofcelluloseacetatebutyrate(CAB)andPPandsubsequentremovaloftheCABmatrix.ThePPmicro/nano-fibermembranesmadebythemethodareanalogoustopapermaking.AscanningelectronmicroscopewasusedtoanalyzethemorphologyofPPmicro/nano-fibermembranes.Aself-madedevicewasusedtoevaluatethedeionizedwaterfluxofPPmicro/nano-fibermembranes.TheresultsshowedthatthethicknessofPPmicro/nano-fibermembranesincreasedwiththeconcentrationofpulp.TheappearanceofPPmicro/nano-fibermembraneswasdirectlyaffectedbythebeatinganddispersionprocess.ThebetterPPmicro/nano-fibersdispersed,amoreuniformappearanceofPPmicro/nano-fibermembranescanbeobtained.Asafiltermedia,thepermeationpropertyofPPmicro/nano-fibermembraneswassignificantlysuperiortothecommercialmicroporousmembrane.
