Aphosphatenanoporousmicroparticleswassuccessfullyusedinpreparationofcelluloseacetatecompositefibers.Thiscompositewasproducedtofibersthroughsolutionspinning.Theresultingcompositefiberswerecharacterizedbyscanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM).Alsothecompositefiberswereproducedtocigarettefiltersbyrodmakingprocess.SEMresultsshowedthatthephosphatenanoporousmicroparticleswerewelldispersedonthesurfaceofcelluloseacetatecompositefibers.Theresultsofsmokeanalysisshowedthatthecompositefibershadanoptimalfiltrationeffectonthetarandnicotineincigarettesmoke.Comparedwithpurecelluloseacetatefibersfilter,thecelluloseacetatecompositefiberfiltershadastronglyselectivefiltrationeffect.
