Itisconfirmedthatpolyacrylateemulsionmodifiedwithhighhydrogen-containingpolymethylsiloxanehasbetterbehaviorsthanpolyacrylateemulsionthroughmeasuringthesizedistributionoflatexaswellasthedriedlatexmembrane’swaterresistance,solventresistanceandheat-ageingresistance.Whenusedascalico-printingadhesivefordecorativefabric,thispolymethylsiloxane/polyacrylatecopolymeremulsionalsoshowsgoodperformances.Theresultsofsizedistributionandotherpropertiesofcopolymeremulsionsynthesizedin1kgamountdemonstratethatthepreparingconditionsofthismodifiedemulsionarestableandreliable.
