Solidpolymerelectrolytes(SPEs)basedonpoly(ethyleneoxide)(PEO)areconsideredpromisingcandidatesforsecondarylithiumbatteries.However,thelowionicconductivitycausedbythecrystallinityofethyleneoxide(EO)chainisamainlimitationforthemtobecommercializedcl].What‘smore,ionicconductivityandmechanicalpropertyofSPEsareintrade-offrelationshipc2].AnefficientmethodtosolvetheseproblemistomakehybridpolymersbygraftingEOsidechainsontoinorganicpolymerbackbonesc3,4],thenyieldintrinsicSPEsbycross-linkingnetworkwhichcombinesspecificmacromolecularproperties,thermalresistanceforsafetyandhighelectrochemicalstability.TheinflamabilityofSPEscanalsobecontrolledbymodifyingtheinorganicunitsofhybridpolymers.Inthisstudy,multi-armedplasticizersandcrosslinkerswerepreparedbyintroducingoligomericEOchainarmsontowell-knownfire-retardantc5]inorganiccores.Fromtheblendingprecursorsolutionofthem,semi-interpenetratingnetworks(semi-IPN)SPEswerepreparedbyradicalinitiatedcross-linkingreaction.Free-standingsolidfilmswereobtainedwithgoodmechanicalstability.TheeffectsofthenumberofEOunitsinplasticizers,lithiumsaltconcentration,andthecontentoftheplasticizersonionicconductivityofSPEswereinvestigatedtooptimizeionicconductivity.DSCthermogram,cyclicvoltammetryandchronopotentiometryofSPEswereconductedtofigureoutthecontributionofplasticizerstotheimprovementsofelectrochemicalpropertiesofthesesemi-IPNSPEssystems.
