Anovelnesteddouble-screwextruderwithhighersolidconveyingcapabilityisintroduced.Fromthepreviouspressuremodelconsideringcentrifugalforceandsolidcompressibility,andTadmor-Broyer’snon-isothermalmodelinsolidconveyingzone,solidtemperatureismoreaccuratelypredicted.Simulatingresultsofthetwosinglescrewextruderswiththediametersof90mmand30mmrespectivelyareconsistentwiththeexperimentalvalues.Thepresentistheeffectsofbarreltemperatureandfrictioncoefficientontemperaturesofsolidsintheaxialdirectionandinthechanneldepthforthenovelnesteddouble-screwextruder.Thelocalpressureandthelengthofsolidconveyingzonecanfurtherbecalculated.Threeinterfacetemperaturesexponentiallyvaryalongaxialdistanceduetothechosenexponentialfunctionofdensityaspressure.Thelengthofsolidconveyingzoneforinnerscrewislongerthanthatofouterscrew.Temperaturerisepredominatelyoccursinaboutonemillimeter,ca.15%to20％ofthechanneldepthfromtheouterscrewsurfacesorfromthebarrelinradialdirectionbyheatconductionfrombarrelorfrictionwithscrews.
