Poly(p-phenylenevinylene)(PPV)derivativeshaveattractedagreatdealofattentionowingtotheirpotentialapplicationinorganiclightemittingdiodes.Inparticular,anewfamilyofsolublePPVderivatives,namelyPoly(2,3-diphenylphenylenevinylene)(DP-PPV)anditsderivativesshavebeenoneofthemostextensivelystudiedPPVderivativesbecauseoftheirexcellentphotoluminescence(PL)efficiency.AlthoughthePLpropertiesoftheDP-PPVshavehasbeenwidelystudied,tothebestofourknowledge,thecrystalstructureandmolecularpackingbehaviorsofDP-PPVsremainsun-explored.Therefore,itisnecessarytoexplorethecrystalstructureandtoobtainfundamentalunderstandingofthestructure-propertyrelationships.
