Inthispaper,thepreparationofthesolutionswasarrangedstartingfromslurryofcelluloseintheionicliquidof1-N-Butyl-3-methylimidazoliumchloride([BMIM]Cl)byaspecialverticalkneadersystematvacuumandhighshearingrates.Torquemomentandrevolutionsperminute(rpm)ofverticalkneadingweredeterminedon-line.Thecellulosesolutionsinionicliquidswerealsocharacterisedbymeansofpolarizingmicroscopeandcone-platerheometer.Therelationshipofdissolutiondegreeandtorquemomentwasestablished.Severalfactorswhichaffectthevelocityofdissolutionprocessincludingcelluloseconcentrationandtemperatureofthesolutionswerediscussedrespectively.Thedissolutionratewasincreasedremarkablyandtheuniformsolutioncouldbeobtainedcomparedtothestaticdissolutionmethod.TheCuen-degreesofpolymerization(DPCuen)oftheprecipitatedcellulosesweredetermined.TheinfluenceofdissolutionconditiononcellulosedegradationwasstudiedaccordingtothevariationofDPs.Itwasfoundthatthedegradationoccurredsimultaneouslyinthedissolutionprocess,however,thedegradationdegreecouldbecontrolledbythedissolutiondynamicconditions.
