SynthesisofcarbonnanofibersfromtheV-typepyrolysisflameisanewmethodandithaswideapplicationprospects.Itneedssimplelaboratoryequipmentsandnormalatmospherepressure.TheV-typepyrolysisflameexperimentalsystemisintroduced,involvingV-typepyrolysisflameburner,massfluxcontrollers,samplingsubstrateetc.Thecarbonnanofiberswerecharacterizedbyscanningelectronmicroscopeandtransmissionelectronmicroscope.Carbonnanofiberswithlessimpuritiesandhighqualitycanbecapturedwhenthetemperaturewasfrom800to880℃,austeniticstainlesssteeltype304wasservedassamplingsubstrate,nickelnitratewasservedascatalystprecursorandsamplingtimewas5minutes.Thecarbonnanofibersarefrom100to200nmindiameteranddozensmicronsinlength.Theaveragediameterofcatalystparticlesisapproximatelyfrom20to50nm.Theeffectsoftemperature,samplingsubstratematerials,samplingtimeandcatalystwereanalyzed.Thetemperaturedeterminedthediameterandshapeofcarbonnanofibers.Theausteniticstainlesssteeltype304substratecontainingnickelisinfavorofsynthesisofcarbonnanofibers.Thenumberofcarbonnanofibersgotmoreandmorewhilethediametergotthickerfirstlyandthenhadlittlechangewiththesamplingtimeincreasedwithin5minutes.Inaddition,experimentalresultsalsoindicatedthatcarbonnanofibershadmuchimpurityandworsemorphologyifthediameterofcatalystparticleswasabove50nm.
