Inthispaper,attapulgite(AT)/naturalrubber(NR)nanocompositeshavebeenprepared.Differenttypesofattapulgitewerepreparedandfourierinfraredspectroscopic(FTIR)andXRDwereusedtoanalyzethestructureofattapulgitebeforeandaftercalcination.Differenttypesofattapulgitewerefilledintonaturalrubberaccordingtodifferentproportionandthemechanismsofcompositeswereanalyzed.TheresultsshowedthatsilianecouplingagentSi-69canimprovethedispersionofcalcinedattapulgiteandenhancethechemicalinterfacialadhesion.Thetensilestrengthwas21.8MPaandabrasionlosswas0.0743cm3/1.61km.SocalcinedattapulgitemodifiedbySi-69hasareinforcingeffectofcarbonblack.
