Polymorphismisauniversalphenomenonforaliphaticpolyesters.Itcanbeformedthroughdifferentpreparationsconditions,suchastemperature,pressure,andstrain.Forpoly(butyleneadipate)(PBA),twotypespolymorphiccrystals(α-formandb-form)havebeenidentifiedandthemonoclinicα-formcrystalsarethermodynamicallystableoneswhiletheb-formcrystalsaremetastableones[1].Ontheotherhand,nucleatingagentshavebeenwidelyusedinpolymercrystallization,resultinginshortprocessingtimeandimprovedphysicalpropertiessuchastoughnessandtransparency[2].Especially,nucleatingagentcaninduceaparticularcrystallinepolymorphforpolymorphicpolymer.Therefore,itisofgreatinterestingtostudytheinfluenceofnucleatingagentontheformationofPBApolymorphiccrystals.Thisworkwillprovideaconvenientwaytocontrolitsiodegradabilityintermsofpolymorphiccrystals.
